Anna University offers Job Oriented Distance Learning courses. They are useful for those students who are unable to do a regular course. Distance Learning course's Application Procedures of Anna University are given below.

Application Procedure for Anna University Distance Learning courses are

Admission under distance education stream
To get enrolled for Anna's Distance Learning programmes, one needs to fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria. Distance Education Entrance Test (DEET) are held twice in a year one in January and the other in July. Separate Entrance Tests will be conducted for admission to MBA and MCA Degree Programmes. There is no Entrance Test for admission to M.Sc
Degree Programme.

Enclosures with application
Attested Copies of the following Certificates are to be enclosed with the application. (Originals should not be enclosed)

• SSLC or its equivalent
• HSc or its equivalent
• Diploma certificate (if applicable)
• Degree Certificate (or) Provisional Certificate
• Mark Sheets of all the Years / Semesters of the Bachelor Degree Examinations based on which admission is sought
• Transfer and Conduct Certificate from the Institution last studied
• AMIE or similar certificate (if applicable)
• Experience certificate (for those with AMIE or similar qualification)
• TANCET Mark Sheet (if applicable)
• Photograph Card (Photograph should be affixed and the candidate should sign at the appropriate place).
